Are you a gambling woman?

A few years ago, I either read somewhere, or heard someone say, the ratio of men to women in San Francisco was 8:1 (my guess is that it's probably about the same today with all the startups sprouting up, if not higher).

When Jude and I were in Mammoth last month, the driver on the Red Line announced that the ratio of men to women was 6:1. She then proceeded to say, "Sorry guys... Ladies, the odds are good, but the goods are odd." (Pah-dum-pum!)
