Logomisia is defined as: strong dislike for a particular word (or type of word) based on its sound, meaning, usage, and/or associations. Also known as word aversion.

Last week, whilst in Vegas, I learned that one of my friends has an aversion to the following words: spooning, pamphlet, and moist.  I have often heard of people with an aversion to the word moist, but I don't think it's that bad.  I do, however, have an aversion to another word...
